Sessions with Lauren are designed to give you a space to feel seen, heard, supported and held.
One of the most challenging aspects of dealing with anxiety is often that sense of despair - feeling as if you are becoming more lost to yourself and those around you with each passing day. Oftentimes, all we really need is someone to talk to…someone who understands what it’s like to be in this space. Someone who can act as a sounding board, a mentor, and a voice of encouragement as we navigate our way towards the edges of our comfort zone.
During a session, we will talk about challenges you may be facing, fears that you feel have held you back, and the goals you have for the future. I will offer you some inquiry questions, space and time for reflection, and we will work together to guide your movements forward. You also have the option of including a guided meditation - either during the session or to be sent afterwards to use as needed.

Please note: sessions are not a replacement for therapy. I am not a counsellor or a trained/licensed therapist and these sessions should not be utilised as treatment for severe mental health issues.
Who am I?
I am a mother, an author, a meditation teacher…and someone who spent far too many years at war with myself. At war with my anxiety, with my fear, with my panic. I wasted so much of my time trying to fight my anxiety into submission - trying to ignore, rationalise, and medicate away my survival instinct in order to truly live. And here is what I learned: life doesn’t begin when you finally get rid of your anxiety. Life begins when you finally start to walk towards your anxiety. When you turn towards your fear. When you stop fighting, and start leaning in.
I have over a decade of lived experience with panic attacks, agoraphobia, and anxiety - including bowel and digestion related anxiety, and I am well-versed in the embodiment of fear, in all it’s various manifestations. From being terrified of my own body and completely housebound, to traveling overseas, raising two daughters, and writing a book (and landing a book deal with my dream publisher!), I’ve cultivated a passion for actively leaning into anxiety, and exploring both the shadow and the light within us.
I don’t believe that our fears are something we need to fight or conquer. I believe they are pathways to walk in order to discover the full expression of ourselves. I’d be honoured to help you walk your pathway, too.
Pricing
Sessions are charged either for a single session at $55 for one hour, or multiple sessions with a small saving (eg. 2x sessions at $100, 3x sessions at $135).

If you are looking for someone to encourage you to move out of your comfort zone, I’m your girl. If you are looking for someone to sound-off with in regards to managing exposure sessions, dealing with toilet anxiety, travel and anxiety and/or agoraphobia, I am also your girl!
I have (lots of) personal experience in dealing with panic attacks and anxiety, especially toilet/bowel/digestive-related anxiety. I have successfully made my way through agoraphobia via self-led exposure therapy, and I’ve even written a book all about courage and the presence of fear.
I am also a trained meditation teacher and can help you with implementing various meditation practices including mindfulness, movement meditation, metta meditation, and guided visualisations. -
Sessions are run via zoom at an agreed time and date. If we are in different time zones I will do my best to accommodate your needs. Sessions are confidential and you will be sent a post-meeting write up with notes on the session for you to keep.

Of course! If you only require one session, that’s absolutely up to you. There is no pressure to re-book or buy multiple sessions.

After selecting your chosen session package (eg one singular session or multiple) you will be required to make payment upon booking. Sessions are non-refundable, however if you need to reschedule within 48 hours of your session time, please email at hello@iamlaurenrose as soon as possible.
